LOVE AND BEAUTY
This project moves from the concepts of the Italian Renaissance. A set of values where Art and Culture, Beauty and Love meet. The story of Raffaello Sanzio and his Margherita, lived against all rules and prejudices, tells us about pure love, showing us how this feeling can generate creative energies and leave indelible marks in the history of humanity.
Raffaello and Margherita
Raffaello Sanzio is a young boy. He lives in the hills of Urbino, and cultivates his soul as an artist in his father's workshop. Called to Rome by the Pope to paint his apartments, he found himself frequenting the highest aristocracy of the time, so much so that he was betrothed to Maria, niece of Cardinal Medici. Raffaello instead falls madly in love with Margherita, daughter of the Trastevere baker. A forbidden love, given the difference in wealth between the two, which is consumed secretly in the garden behind her father's oven. Theirs is a love of great passion, so much so that, after a night with Margherita, Raphael begins to suffer from the malaise that will soon lead to his death...
Raphael is buried, unique among all artists, in the temple of the Pantheon. He seems to have asked this way, on a summer evening, chatting with artist friends in the square in front of the Roman temple. Margherita, young and very much in love, decides to declare eternal love to the artist and to live her life in an infinite memory of him.
Only perfumes, better than words, will be able to tell this story. They will evoke memories, and strong emotions.
